Ein Raum für das druckgrafische Werk von Günter Fruhtrunk.
Unweit der Kunstakademie, an der Fruhtrunk als Professor bis 1982 lehrte, widmet sich diese  Dauerpräsentation dem druckgrafischen Werk von Günter Fruhtrunk (1923-1982), einem der einflussreichsten geometrisch-abstrakten Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er schuf eine dynamische Formensprache mit vektorartigen, diagonalen Linien, deren wechselnde Farben rhythmisch angeordnet sind, und verwandelte so die Grundidee des Konstruktivismus in eine farbenfrohe Bilderwelt. Die Werke des Op-Art Künstlers besitzen bis heute eine moderne, zeitgemäße Ästhetik. In den neuen Ausstellungsräumen wird eine beeindruckende Auswahl an Fruhtrunk-Serigraphien angeboten.

Located near the Academy of Fine Arts, where Fruhtrunk taught as a professor until 1982, this permanent presentation is dedicated to the print work of Günter Fruhtrunk (1923-1982), one of the most influential geometric abstract artists of the 20th century. He created a dynamic formal language with vector-like, diagonal lines whose alternating colors are rhythmically arranged, thus transforming the basic idea of Constructivism into a colorful world of images. The works of the Op-Art artist still possess a modern, contemporary aesthetic today. An impressive selection of Fruhtrunk serigraphs is offered in the new exhibition rooms.
